Mr. CK Ranganathan (CKR), the Chairman and Managing Director of CavinKare and the President of TiE Chennai (from year 2019 to year 2023), played a pivotal role in the inception of the Personal Boards. Drawing from his own experience as a beneficiary of personal transformation through the bouncing board approach, he recognized the potential of such concepts to assist entrepreneurs in remote areas of Tamil Nadu. His vision is to extend these benefits to entrepreneurs across boundaries.

CKR frequently always says that the bottleneck is always at the top. This analogy aptly applies to entrepreneurs as well, emphasizing that often the primary obstacle to progress lies within themselves. For entrepreneurs who have diligently executed numerous strategies within their businesses, grappling with stagnation and a lack of growth, a pivotal realization emerge – the realization that they themselves are the bottleneck hindering progress and growth. Accepting accountability for the setbacks becomes the key to unlocking answers to numerous perplexing questions during their entrepreneurial journey.

In 2020, under the leadership of Mr. C K Ranganathan and the guidance of Mrs. Akhila Rajeshwar, the Executive Director of TiE Chennai, the first Personal Board was established, bringing together members from various regions of Tamil Nadu. The unique aspect is that these discussions are conducted in the regional language, fostering a stronger sense of connection and understanding among the participants.

As these entrepreneurs began to experience positive outcomes and a renewed sense of hope, word of mouth quickly spread, leading to the establishment of the first 50 Personal Boards in rapid succession. This initiative has since become a significant milestone in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
